Quotes

One of my colleagues in the filed of caregiving once said, “There are only four kinds of people in this world: 1) Those who have been caregivers, 2) Those who are currently caregivers, 3) Those who will be caregivers, 4) Those who will need caregivers.” That pretty much covers all of us.

Do you need help with transportation to medical appointments?  Are you having difficulty with grocery shopping because you can't carry the packages?  Is it too difficult to do your laundry because your washer and dryer are in the basement? Sometimes tasks like these make the difference between someone being able to stay in their own home or apartment and needing to enter a facility where additional help is available.

If you are one of those who wants to remain independent and be able to maintain your dignity and quality of life, contact Faith in Action Caregivers to learn more about receiving  services from caring and compassionate volunteers.  You will need to complete a brief application to tell us more about yourself and how a volunteer can make a difference in your life.  Once the application is completed, simply contact Faith in Action Caregivers to schedule appointments for services.

To get an application email Faith in Action Caregivers ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) or call them at 304-243-5420.  A friendly staff member will answer the phone and assist you.
