One of my colleagues in the filed of caregiving once said, “There are only four kinds of people in this world: 1) Those who have been caregivers, 2) Those who are currently caregivers, 3) Those who will be caregivers, 4) Those who will need caregivers.” That pretty much covers all of us.

Faith in Action Caregivers is an interfaith ministry that values the diversity and gifts of people of all faith traditions.  We recognize that all faith traditions share a common call to serve those in need.

The organization does not discriminate against any individual by reason of age, disability, race, color, ethnicity, gender, creed, national origin or socioeconomic status.  Faith in Action Caregivers respects the privacy and personal beliefs of all volunteers and care receivers and does not permit proselytizing by one faith community for members of another or the maligning of any person’s faith.

Faith in Action Caregivers does encourage interaction and understanding among faith communities and respect for the religious beliefs of all persons.  The open practice or advocacy of racism by any volunteer or staff member is not permitted.
